Reaching the Unreached: Education for Migrant and Nomadic Children
Millions of migrant families in India struggle to educate their children due to survival needs, no documents, frequent moves, and tough admissions. Nomadic groups like Banjaras lack stable homes and schooling. Pehla Akshar sets up local learning centers, bringing accessible, flexible education to even the most marginalized.

The Reality
India has 213M people below the poverty line, including 84M children without education. Even enrolled children face poor quality. In ages 3–6, 90M+ kids get under ₹2,500/year in public spending. We must move beyond access to a Right to Equal Quality Education—every child deserves a real future.
